Run club hosted by Anderson’s Craft Ale helps to build a strong community in London.
The ability of runners vary with everyone running at their own pace. The routes offered consist of a 2.5 km run or a 5 km run, both start and end at the brewery.
Amanda Anderson, owner of Anderson’s Craft Ale shares the incentives to join “if you come six times you get a teeshirt, then if you come 24 times you get a stainless steel water bottle, then the ultimate prize is the centurions club where you get your name on a plaque.” The point of the incentives are to make running fun and add a competitive spirit behind run club.
Rain or Shine
Since the brewery has opened, the club has never missed a run. Anderson reassures that “there are runners that will go out early and report back to me if there’s any problems in the route.” This way the run club is able to ensure safety for their participants.
