According to London Police, a London man was charged earlier this week after officers found him to be in possession of a loaded gun.
On Wednesday, Police say officers stopped a vehicle near Exeter Road after information that a wanted female was possibly in the car. During the stop, a passenger of a vehicle was found to be in the possession of a loaded gun.
Police say Adam Alexander Wade, 36, of London, is charged with the following charges:
- Possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence and registration certificate;
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition; and
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
The accused is still in police custody and did appear in a London court in relation to the charges.
