The plot of the series revolves around several charismatic heroes who work on a daring plan to rob the Royal Bank of Spain.
One of the most unique elements of the thief’s image in this series is the red suit and Dali’s mask resembling the face of the Spanish artist Salvador Dali.
The reason why this mask was chosen for the heroes of the series is that Salvador Dali is considered as national hero in Spain. Dali defines the real meaning of madness with genuineness and anger.
Dali was an exceptional person, different from others in his creativity, ego, admiration and fascination with himself, like many characters in the series.
The image of the “provocative” artist perfectly coincides with the image of the heroes of the series, who express their rejection of the capitalist model in European society.

Demonstrators in several countries around the world have fallen in love with the protesting spirit of the series’ heroes.
Masked demonstrators with a face resembling “Dali” took the streets in France,Puerto Rico, Brazil, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine and Egypt to express thier anger and to ask for thier human rights.

Some countries like Cyprus prohibited the use of the seieres costumes for security purposes, and banded Dali’s mask spacifcl.
La casa de papel widely promoted the concepts and the meanings of the song the world famous song “Bella Ciao” . The song has been featured several times in the series in many powerfull sceens.
Bell Ciao was sung by Italians between 1943-1945 during the anti-Nazism resistance, and it has been an anthem for revolutionaries that embodies hopes, aspirations of the resistance, and a symbol of strength.
The story of “The Good Thieves” will continue, and its fans will see the end on December 3, 2021.
