The Queens funeral service began at 11am September 19 local time, but it was closed to the public.
At 12:15 p.m. the main event for the public, the Queen’s procession began. The coffin was taken in procession, led by the King and his family, from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch, inside Hyde Park.
The Queen will be buried with the Duke of Edinburgh in a private interment service with senior members of the Royal Family at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Her final resting place will be the King George VI memorial chapel.
According to the Westminster Abbey, Services will re-commence on the evening of Monday 19th September at St Margaret’s Church, and from Wednesday 21st September at Westminster Abbey.
