Enough is enough, the city just really needs to do something!
David Isaac, participant and lawyer, specialised in road-accidents with cyclists
Ever since the death of former Fanshawe student J. Benoy’s on the 17th of September, a lot of anger within the cycling community has resurfaced. Yesterday at 5.30 p.m., a group of cyclists came together at ‘J. Benoy’s ghost bike’ on Hamilton Road for a bike down to the city hall. This is to raise awareness of the current biking problems in London, that should be dealt with as soon as possible.

It shouldn’t be that you have to own a car!

Everything went perfect and the organization was happy with the amount of people that showed up to support the cause. But unfortunately, not everyone was a big fan of this peaceful protest. After most of the participants had left, an unfriendly and aggressive uber driver started a verbal fight with one of the participants. Security had to intervene and a police report was filed later that evening.
