Dundas Street road closure
Dundas Street is closed this week from Adelaide Street north to Elizabeth Street. The road closure is part of the Dundas Street OEV Infrastructure Renewal project and will facilitate the installation of the gateway features.
Businesses will remain open during this time, however, some businesses are seeing a decline in customers regarding the ongoing construction on Dundas.
“We lost a lot of customers, walk-in customers, and it affects us, really affects us,” says an employee at Pizza Roma. “I think in more months it should be okay. When the construction is done, we are expecting to go back to normal.”
Bike lanes will be closed in this area this week, but pedestrian walkways will remain open.
Dundas is expected to reopen on Friday, July 26.
