There are a lot of events lined up for Londoners this weekend. From the London Airshow to the Western Fair, the 2024 Dance Festival and many more things going on. The two main attractions for thrilled filled weekend are the award-winning London Airshow and the conclusion of the Western Fair.

The London Airshow has won 3 back-to-back awards for best air show in North America. Last year they attracted over 27,000 people and the SkyDrive is projected to break 30,000 this year with the arrival of some new aircraft.
The Western Fair ends this weekend and people are trying to make some time to go before it’s all over and closed until next year. Those who have already experienced the fair this year have many things to say like this Western Fair attendee Jordan.
“I enjoyed losing $100 to the games and only winning one stuffed animal, so basically spending $100 on a stuffed animal.” Jordan jokingly remarked. She later says “She likes the games there (Western Fair)”

Other people still have not gotten a chance to attend the fair. Like Sunna who is excited to go. “I think we are both going to the Western Fair.” she said. Sunna later added what she is most exited for. “The Ferris wheel and the fair food for sure.” says Sunna.
Some new London residents have never experienced the Western Fair and right now would be a great time to go because of all the new people moving to London because of the start of the school year. Miguel is a student at Fanshawe College who has never been to the fair.
“My plans for the weekend. I think I’m going to go to the Western Fair with my siblings and that is about it. Yeah it’s my first time going to the Western Fair.” says Miguel.
Other events that will be occurring in London this weekend are the 10th London Dance Festival at Victoria Park, the 10 year anniversary of the London Comic Con and the Lucky Lion Night Market which celebrates diversity.
