Diwali is close, and London is excited! Families and friends are getting ready to celebrate with lights, yummy food, and fireworks. To keep the fun safe, the City of London and the Fire Department are sharing important safety tips!
Celebrating with Fireworks
Consumer fireworks can be bought from October 27 to November 1, 2024. They can be used after dark on November 1 until 11:00 p.m. London Fire Prevention and City By-law Officers will ensure everyone follows safety regulations in the area. Using fireworks after this time may result in fines.
Prioritizing Safety
Make safety your top priority as you get ready to celebrate. Observe the directions included with your fireworks. Remember that fireworks are not permitted on public streets, and stay well away from trees and buildings.
