Forest City London Music Festival kicks off this weekend
The Forest City London Music Festival begins this weekend, launching a week of free performances across the city.
“Over the course of London Music Week, we are engaging over 300 musicians who are being paid to perform at all of the free events,” said event organizer. Michael Circelli
“It’s a big task — it’s a big job — but we’ve got a good team and a good system in place. We’re ready to showcase the best of the region here in London, Ontario.”
Security remains a top priority for festival organizers, especially amid growing concerns at events across the country.
“We work with the city and go through all the protocols and procedures they require,” said organizer Circelli. “We’re pretty confident things are going to be just fine.”
Fans can look forward to a performance by Canadian Juno-winning hip-hop artist Choclair. Opening night on May 31 will feature local acts Savaria and Bella Rosa.
