A dog was rescued from a house fire this morning in North Middlesex.
The home was on Nairn Road and the renter was alerted to the fire at his house and rushed home to find firefighters already at his house.
The dog was given oxygen at the scene and was taken to the vet, where it will remain overnight but luckily is expected to survive.
Investigators are on scene to figure out the cause of the fire. No damage estimate has been released yet.
