The Curry House in Owen Sound. (TripAdvisor)
Three Scottish men are accused in the death of an Owen Sound, Ont., restaurant owner.
24-year-old Robert Evans Jr. is charged with manslaughter, while his father and uncles have been charged with accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence.
It is alleged that Evans Jr, punched 44-year-old Sharif Rahman outside his Owen Sound restaurant during an argument over an unpaid bill. Then he allegedly fled the scene with the help of his father and uncle.
Rahman was left in a coma following the punch where he died about a week later.
During their hearing, all three consented to be sent to Canada to face the charges, but the final decision lays in the hands of the Scottish government.
If a trial is held for the men in Canada, it will take place in Owen Sound.
