The hockey community is mourning the loss of former London Knight Jake Patterson.
According to the OHL in a statement, Patterson passed away earlier this week.
Born in 1994 from Sault Ste. Marie, Patterson was chosen in the seventh round of the 2010 OHL Priority Selection by the Plymouth Whalers before recording 43 wins over three seasons with the Knights from 2011 to 2014.
Patterson was 31.
