“I’m really looking for the quality of the prime, quality of the meat, it’s something that I’m really excited for, and also the cheese! If I can get a really good cheese pull as a part of it, I think I’ll be a really happy cat,” says Victor Harris, Vice-Chair of United Way Elgin Middlesex and one of the Burger Ambassadors.
Alongside the Burger Ambassadors vote, there will also be a people choice award that is decided by online votes. For every ultimate burger sold, $2 will be donated to United Way.
“We provide services to over 112,000 people, everything from housing, mentoring for students, mental health supports, and food assistance,” says Chris McInnis Director of Marketing & Communications At United Way Elgin Middlesex.
Presented by TD Bank Group, the crown for the Ultimate Burger will be announced at the end of November alongside, the peoples choice award, and an award for the most amount of burgers sold.
