After our region was hit with snow squalls earlier this week, and the possibility for more adverse weather to come, police are sharing warnings to be cautious before buckling up.
In a social media post on X, Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Ed Sanchuk shared tips for how drivers can stay safe during bad weather.
“Please adjust your speed, drive according to the road and weather conditions, take your time,” he said.
Sanchuk stressed that in overcast weather, drivers should turn their vehicle’s entire headlighting system on, so that they can be seen.
“Just focus on the task at hand, which is driving,” he said.
The forecast for London Nov. 13 indicates a slight chance of flurries during the day, and the possibility of showers later into the evening.
