A gas leak in downtown London lead to a shelter in place for local students and a response from the London Fire Department.
The incident took place on Waterloo and Princess Ave.
According to the x account of the London Fire Department, the incident happened due to construction crews compromising the main natural gas line.
Fire crews worked with Central Secondary School to put a shelter in place for students to keep them safe.
As of just before 12:00 p.m. Enbridge gas has contained the leak according to the London Fire Department’s x account
