Magic of Lights is celebrating its 5th anniversary in London.
The event is a drive-thru featuring an amazing and festive display that vividly conveys millions of twinkling lights.
“It was my first time being in that immersive experience place. Because I’ve never been to Magic of Lights, I haven’t heard about it,” said Jerry Thomas, Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) President.
Thomas attended this event with the invitation of the event organizer.
He said it was a really beautiful experience.
“It was really good to see how they have created different themes throughout the park or throughout the road, driveway. And then you could also stop at times and just click pictures,” said Thomas.
“So, there were prehistoric Christmas themes. There were prehistoric era for dinosaurs as well. And then there were some fairy tales. And a lot of immersive lights.”
The event goes beyond mere attractions and brings joy and meaning to the London community and its students.
Proceeds from this event go to Children’s Health Foundation.
“To my understanding, part of this event, the money is going towards a good cause. And then I’m not completely 100% sure on where the money is going. But just on a structural or organizational basis, it’s for a good cause,” said Thomas.
Thomas explained that the event will be a great experience for students in London, including Fanshawe students.
“We have different international and domestic students. A lot of students travel from around the world or the country and come here to study. For them, it’s an experience or an opportunity to just go out in the city and experience what it is about,” added Thomas.
This event will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 every day until January 3rd.
