Air Transat has reached a tentative agreement.
This Tentative agreement is putting an end to the strike just hours before it was supposed to begin.
In a media release, the President and CEO of Transat Annick Guerard had this to say;
“We are pleased to have finally reached a tentative agreement with the union representing our pilots, marking a complete overhaul of their collective agreement.
“We would have greatly preferred to avoid the threat of a strike.”
This deal affects 750 pilots.
Passengers can now fly with peace of mind now that the strike has been averted.
