A London man has been charged with dangerous driving after driving 130 km/h in a 50 zone.
On Nov. 26, at a little after 6:30 in the morning, police say a man, driving a 2021 Tesla on Huron near Adelaide, turned into the left lane, before turning right and running a red light.
The accused, according to police, drove 130 km/h in 50 km/h zone.
Another driver was in a pickup truck going northbound on Adelaide when the accused crashed into him and both drivers were taken to the hospital.
The pickup driver had minor injuries while the accused had serious but non-life threating injuries.
A 36-year-old London man is facing the following chargers;
· Dangerous operation of a conveyance;
· Race a motor vehicle; and
· Red light – fail to stop.
He appeared in court yesterday and his next appearance is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2026.
