Fanshawe students enjoyed a unique night out at Forwell Hall on the London Campus during a Silent Disco event. Instead of loudspeakers, students wore headphones and chose their own music while dancing together. The event took place on Thursday at 8 p.m.
Event coordinator Cami Ariza says the goal was to create a fun and relaxed experience for everyone.
“We have two DJs, and students can switch music channels using their headphones,” Ariza said. “It’s all about having fun, relaxing, and enjoying the moment.”
Many students said they enjoyed trying something different.
“I’m having a great time with my friends,” one student said. “We’re just dancing and having fun.”
Another student, Rafael Cibaria, said it was his first Silent Disco.
“It’s my first time, and I’m having a lot of fun,” he said.
The event gave students a new way to connect on campus and enjoy music together in a chill environment.
