London police have charged a 55-year-old man in connection with a death investigation.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 17, officers were called to an area near King and Maitland streets after someone reported what appeared to be a dead person.
When officers arrived, they confirmed the person was dead. The case was later taken over by the major crimes unit.
Police have identified the deceased as 37-year-old Jessica Rose Bakker.
Rondell Joseph Jones, 55, of London, has been charged with one count of improper or indecent interference with a dead body. He is expected to appear in a London court.
