The Wolf Performance Hall, located in the London Public Library hosted a special show for families.
It was the third annual showing of the Keith Brown & Friends Magic Show, supporting the Family Service Thames Valley (FSTV).
“FSTV is an incredible organization that does amazing work in our community,” said Keith Brown, the magician headlining the act.
“They do a lot of subsidized mental health, so most of the people who come to them can’t afford it, and they tend to be marginalized in more than one way, and I think that mental health is very, very important.”
Executive Director of the FSTV Nicola Memo, said the proceeds help them with counselling.
“Subsidized counseling, allowing folks to be able to come in and receive services even if they don’t have the money.”
The matinee show was at 2:30 and the evening show was at 7:00, with both showings receiving a ton of community support with over 200 tickets sold.
“I saw a trick when I was a kid, and not only did I want to know, I needed to know how it worked. It was this amazing moment of mystery and wonder,” said Brown when asked about his start in magic.
Some of the sponsors for the show include TFPG, Cambia Development Foundation and Atwork Office Furniture.
