London police say there is no danger to the public after they were called to A.B. Lucas Secondary School on Tuesday.
Officers arrived in the afternoon to investigate a threat “in the form of graffiti,” police said on X. Later, the service posted an update saying that officers had left the scene.
One day earlier, London Police released a similar statement regarding a brief lockdown at Mother Teresa Secondary School on Monday. They are still investigating and have not yet released more information.
Londoners took to social media to discuss, linking the recent incidents to similar situations in high schools across the city.
XFM reached out to the London District Catholic School Board. A response from the board contained a letter sent out to families by the high school’s principal. It reads that the situation involved graffiti inside the building.
“I would ask that families refrain from speculation or circulating rumours, especially those that may appear online,” the letter said.
