Miami Heat center-forward Bam Adebayo made history on March 10.
Bam Adebayo scored 83 points, setting franchise records for free throws made and attempted in a game for the Miami Heat during a 150–129 win over the Washington Wizards.
The NBA single-game scoring record of 100 points, set by Wilt Chamberlain in 1962, remains the highest in league history.
Kobe Bryant previously held the second-highest total with 81 points. Adebayo’s 83-point performance moved him ahead of Bryant on the all-time single-game scoring list.
