Dundas St. saw two early morning crashes.
The first was on First St. and Dundas St. at around 8:30 a.m. as a male carrying a child along with a toddler was struck by a vehicle. All were taken to hospital with what police are saying are “non-life threatening injuries”.
The second was on Adelaide St. right outside the Police Station at around 10 a.m.
A young male believed to be in his late teens was struck by a transport truck while riding his skateboard across the intersection.
The male has been sent to the hospital with “serious injuries”.
Constable Ken Steeves says that everyone needs to be aware of everyone on the road. “Whether we are a driver, pedestrian or cyclist we have to be aware of one and another. We have to use the rules of the road”.
Both crashes are still under police investigations.
