A local teenager was put into critical condition last Saturday (September 25th) following an assault, according to a statement issued by London police. In the very early morning of Saturday, emergency responders arrived to the scene at the 100 block of John Street (close to Talbot street). The 18-year-old victim was found and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being assaulted by 19-year-old London man Ho Lee, who has since been arrested.

The 19-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault in the incident today. The London Police have stated the accused and the victim had no prior connection to the alleged assault. The suspect made a court appearance on Sunday afternoon and is scheduled to make a return to court November 17, 2021. The victim remains in hospital in serious condition
