The 150 year-year-old Western Fair Association that plays a major role in promoting agri-business innovators will host the CannabisWiki expo for the first time, next year.
CannabisWiki expo is a a London-based cannabis media start-up. “We plan to bring a Cannabis education and networking event centred around agriculture , and we will be focused on licensed producers, bud tenders and it will be the first of its kind in Southwestern Ontario.” said CannabisWiki CEO, Derrick Berney.
CannabisWiki partnering up with the Western fair shows that “cannabis is becoming a part of the agriculture industry.” Berney also believes that such events will help bring down the “stigma around cannabis” and different business could learn how they can benefit from the cannabis industry.
The CannabisWiki expo will also be informative for people looking to get into the Cannabis industry.
“Ontario has a lot of agriculture producers that maybe wanna know how to get in the industry,” said Berney. “They can talk to people, learn, listen to speakers and find out how they can enter the industry.”
There is a fun side to the CannabisWiki expo too. “It’s gonna be mainly about education and net
working but there will be after parties where people can have some fun too.”
