Two Londoners are facing charges after vandalism escalated to arson and threats earlier this week.
It started early Tuesday morning on Coronation Drive where a suspect, caught on video surveillance, started by slashing all four tires of the car parked on the roadway, left, then returned to break the house’s windows and then set fire to the garage and vehicle.
Shortly after, the homeowner received a number of threatening texts after reporting the fire.
Police arrested two suspects after a short car chase on Fanshawe Park Road West that damaged several vehicles.
Denzel Borden and Gregory Wayne Rowles have been charged with several offences including arson, extortion, and uttering threats.
Both the accused and the victim were known to each other.
Borden appeared in London court yesterday, while Rowles has been released from custody and is expected to appear in court in late July.
