Included in this week’s selection is a tribute to fiddler Byron Berline, who recently passed away. He played the tune that provided the name for the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band, wrote a bluegrass ‘Classic – ‘The Gold Rush’ and played on many Californian country rock groups’ recordings. There’s also some songs from Flatt & Scruggs, Irene Kelley, Nashville Bluegrass Band and Jeremy Stephens.
