Downtown London has a bright new addition. A large mural by Vancouver artist Priscilla Yu now covers the west wall of the Centro building at 100 Fullarton Street, near Talbot Street. The mural is called “Forest City Portals” and brings bold, colourful design to a part of downtown known for its neutral tones.
Yu’s mural explores how people experience city space, such as stairs, corners, and alley in their own way. She used colours from the Centro building’s lobby, along with natural shades that reflect the Thames River, nearby trees, and the sky.
This project is part of a growing public art movement in downtown London. Over the last six years, many murals have been installed across the core, with support from Downtown London, Tourism London, Andrew Gunn Consulting, and young & free press. These artworks often highlight themes like nature and local music history.

“We’re excited to feature Priscilla’s abstract style,” said Andrew Gunn. “Most of our earlier murals have been more figurative, so this one invites new kinds of conversations.”
The mural is also supported by Old Oak Properties, who recently completed construction on the Centro building. “This wall felt like a blank canvas,” a company spokesperson said. “We were thrilled to work with Priscilla and help bring more beauty to this corner of downtown.”
