London Police are investigating another incident of gun violence in the city’s south end.
The incident occurred overnight Tuesday, when a suspect fired multiple rounds into a residence on Crown Grant Road, damaging a vehicle and a garage door in the process.
Police obtained surveillance footage of the incident, where they were also able to identify the suspect vehicle as a dark coloured sedan. Footage has not been shared with the public at the time of posting.
“Violent incidents, particularly those involving firearms cause serious safety concerns to individuals directly involved and threaten feelings of safety and well-being throughout our community,” said Sgt. Sandasha Bough when discussing the incident.
No injuries were reported in the shooting, which police believe was targeted.
The number of gun violence incidents in 2025 has already exceeded last year’s total of 14. As a result, these incidents are one of the service’s top priorities currently.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, which is still in its early stages.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact London Police at 519-661-5670, or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
