The fall Fanshawe convocation has been postponed.
The original date was supposed to be November , but now has been pushed back to November 5.
This leaves many students affected as they will have to wait to walk across the stage.
XFM News reached out to Fanshawe College for an interview but they declined, they did however provide a statement.
“Due to the ongoing labour disruption at Ontario colleges, Fanshawe has made the difficult decision to postpone its fall convocation ceremonies.”
Fanshawe also provides the reasoning as to why they decided to postpone this event.
“This decision was made to ensure students, their families and supporters had ample time to adjust their plans and potential travel arrangements”
Fanshawe also goes on to say that they know how important this event is to the community and that this news may be disappointing.
