The London Transit Commission held a public drop-in event where the public were able to voice their opinions about changes they want to be made in the LTC.
The event was held in the Central Library on Dundas Street, where attendees of the event were able to single out problems they have with the system and ask for changes to specific routes.
General Manager of the LTC Kelly Palenczny says that they’ll take all the opinions today and propose them to the committee in January to get them approved and they’ll start to act on this next fall.
Local residents in London voiced their opinions out loud and one of them was saying how they have a problem with being strapped down on the bus in a manual wheelchair. Another was saying he wishes that they would work on their consistency and add more stops throughout the city due to living in a further away neighbourhood with little bus stops.
The LTC will have a survey on their website as well for people to voice their opinions and answer frequently asked questions.
