The Modern Market Series Christmas Edition is coming back to London.
The event brings together thousands of guests to come and experience what small businesses from across Ontario have to offer. Londoners can shop, eat, and enjoy the experience during this special market.

“I have established the most amazing connections and relationships with small businesses and families from the area from all across Canada really through hosting these events,” she said. “And it really is important to me to bring something fun to London. I was born and raised in London and bringing something fun and memorable for families.”
Her goal is to create an amazing, memorable experience for families, as well as for the vendors.
“I want them to be successful. I want them to have a profitable weekend, build connections with people that maybe they wouldn’t have connected with otherwise, and bring something fun to London, to White Oaks Mall, that’s already a busy mall.”
She has hosted the event since 2017. It is an annual event and usually happens twice a year. Once in the summer and again around Christmas time.
“It’s not just like a typical trade show event. It’s not a corporate style setting at all,” Maulucci said.
The theme of this year is ‘small business wonderland.’
The most special part of the event is the live music and entertainment. The Sugar Plum Fairy will be coming to dance the Nutcracker Ballet throughout the event.

There will also be donuts, comfort food, and some beautiful aesthetic Santa photos.
“This is the best way to kick off the holiday season,” Maulucci said. “People can shop from amazing small businesses from all across Ontario in one place, save on shipping, and actually have a fun time doing it.”
Maulucci also said the event is very important to Londoners because it brings the community together.

“It brings families together. We have heard so many stories of our guests coming and meeting other families with kids maybe of the similar age that they have become friends and now attend the events twice a year together, which is so cool because they met here,” she said. “And then also it brings all the small businesses together in person. So instead of just shopping online, you get to meet the people who are making the products and get to know the faces behind the brands.”
Lastly, she added that she wants people to have an amazing weekend in this event. “Come, enjoy, and really just have fun!”
The event will be held at White Oaks Mall until this Saturday.
