The OPP has released their statistics after the first week of the festive Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere program.
53 drivers have been charged in this first week with impaired driving.
Since the R.I.D.E. program started, 229 drivers have been charged with impaired driving.
The R.I.D.E. program started in 1977 in Etobicoke and has been in place to keep the roads safe, and slow impaired driving.
Middlesex county which London is a part of had 3 impaired driving charges laid in the first week of the program.
This program will run from Nov. 20, 2025 to Jan. 1, 2026.
