A yellow snow squall warning is in effect for London, Parkhill and Eastern Middlesex County.
Snow is expected to come from Lake Huron and put the Middlesex area in a snow squall. Nearly a foot of snow is expected, with greater amounts being expected in some areas.
Starting this afternoon and carrying through Thursday afternoon, 15 to 30 centimeters are expected. Lambton County and the Grand Bend area are expected the most amount of snowfall.
Temperatures are expected to rapidly drop throughout the day, with wind gusts hitting 50 to 60 km/h.
Environment Canada says travel could be hazardous with snow and ice on the roads. Visibility may drop to near zero at times.
