With the heavy snowfall we got last night, Both the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board have announced all schools are closed for the day.
Last night, temperatures reached a staggering -23 C leaving icy roads and almost a foot of snow this morning.
Road conditions are also not the safest this morning leading to public and catholic school bus cancelations.
Environment Canada warned that snow would continue throughout the day and even issued a yellow warning for snow squalls starting yesterday.
It’s expected that another 5 cm of snow will fall today only making the roads worse.
