Tampa Bay Lightning forward Anthony Cirelli will now miss the Olympics.

Cirelli suffered an injury during Sunday’s Stadium Series game against the Boston Bruins.
After the game, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said the injury is “kind of a stinger”. There have been no updates on the injury as of now.
Cirelli has 15 goals and 20 assists in 49 games this season.
Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett has been confirmed as the replacement. Bennett has 42 points in 55 games this season.
Both skaters played for Team Canada at the Four Nations Faceoff in 2025.
Team Canada will kick off Milano Cortina 2026 on Feb. 12, taking on Czechia.
