A pair of violent incidents in London and St. Thomas involving teens Wednesday and Thursday both drew police response.
London police responded to a call Thursday after a fight broke out at a high school in the city’s east end.
Police and fire crews were called to Saunders Secondary School Thursday afternoon, where the incident escalated, eventually involving the use of fire extinguishers.
A video posted to TikTok showed what appeared to be a classroom engulfed in powder from the extinguishers, while students rushed to a corner as punches were thrown within the cluster of people.

“We are aware of a video circulating on social media showing a fight that occurred yesterday at Saunders Secondary School,” said Constable Gavin Dell from the London Police Service.
Dell added that the investigation is ongoing and that police will share more information as appropriate.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas police arrested and charged three teens Wednesday night after responding to a disturbance.
Police said a victim was punched in the head and knocked to the ground before being assaulted by multiple people, suffering injuries that required medical attention.
An 18-year-old male and 17-year-old female have each been charged with assault as well as a 15-year-old male who was also charged with being intoxicated in a public place and possessing cannabis under the age of 19.
The three teens were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
