Workers with Domus Developments are finishing up Santa’s house in Victoria Park – a place for Londoners to get their picture with Saint Nick when his sleigh makes its way to the Forest City.
The 500 square foot home is a product of the Teresina Larizza Charities Foundation (TLC), a community based charity that helps underprivileged and severely ill children.
“Well if you could picture the most delicious ginger bread house, that’s what it’s going to end up looking like. It’s gonna be lit up, it’s gonna be brown, it’s gonna be snowy and fluffy… Maybe even some jujubes on there. You know, candy cane porch supports and the whole bit,” says Lead Carpenter of the house, James De Hogue.
The cost of photos is by donation, with all proceeds going towards TLC.
Santa will be available for photos every day from 1p.m. until 4p.m. and 6p.m. until 9p.m., from November 27th through to December 23rd.
