Middlesex County OPP are investigating a fatal collision that took place on Vanneck Road, south of Nairn Road.
Police say a Toyota car travelling northbound collided with a Dodge van while crossing over the railway overpass around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Officials say a male driver was killed in the collision. His identity is being withheld until the next-of-kin have been notified.
According to police, the female drive of the van was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) assisted with the investigation.
Police say the roadway is closed between Nairn Road and Glendon Drive.
