A public school library was packed with Londoners ready to voice their opinions on different issues in Ontario.
Clara Benton public school’s library was transformed into a seminar room as London West MPP Peggy Sattler invited the public to come speak about the provincial issues that concern them. The event serves not only an opportunity for Londoners to come and make their voices heard, but for Sattler to listen and analyze how to fight for Londoners.
“Health care, hydro rates, access to affordable housing, these are a few of the issues that seem to rise whenever we hold these public seminars. ”
Sattler lists preparing a petition, holding media events and raising questions during question period as initiatives on how she plans on tackling the issues raised. She reminds everyone there’s going to be an election in Ontario in a few months
“What I hear is very helpful as we are developing platform commitments and ideas on how people want to see this province moving forward.”
