Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for London, Komoka, Parkhill and Strathroy, as well as eastern and western Middlesex Counties.
The weather agency says snow associated with a deepening low pressure system is expected to reach Southwestern Ontario on Thursday afternoon.
Snowfall amounts of five to ten centimetres is forecasted to fall on Thursday night.
Poor driving conditions are expected and untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery.
Environment Canada says the biggest impact on roads will be on Thursday evening, continuing into Friday morning.
The weather agency expects this to be the largest snowfall event so far this season, but things are expected to slowly taper off tomorrow.
Drivers are advised to plan for extra time during their commutes.
