On December 18th of 2016, police were called to investigate a stabbing at Imperio Banquet Hall on Falcon Street of 26-year-old Chad Robinson. Four days after Robinson was found stabbed at a London Christmas party. London police charged Miguel Chacon-Perez with second-degree murder.
The trial continues into it’s third week. This past Friday marked the 9th day of the hearing of evidence for the case. A past friend was called in for testimony on Friday. Friday’s session ended short after Chacon-Perez’s lawyers showed concern for their clients’ well-being. Court is now adjourned to Monday at 9:30 a.m. due to Chacon-Perez’s battle with illness. The defence team wants to question Aparicio Chicas for further information on the night of December 18th, 2016. But the defence has indicated that Chacon-Perez will be testifying later in the trial and is expected to point the finger at his old friend as the stabber.
