Memes have taken the world by storm. Rather it be crying Michael Jordan plastered onto other photos,Or kodak black saying “i hope so” in a funny way a meme can almost be anything that trolls somene else and makes the millions on social media laugh. What Alot of memes try and do is relate to people. Alot of the memes are more about the caption then the video. For example there is a meme going around the internet right now of a guy running full speed in a open parking lot , what makes the video a meme is the captions like
- ‘’ lebron running back on defense”
- “When u have a 9am class and you wake up at 8:58”
- “ the UPS guy after he rings the doorbell”
What makes the video so funny is the chance for us scrolling through our social feeds to relate to the content and get a good laugh. Now some memes can be very displeasing to whoever the meme is directed towards. Usually when something big happens in the world there is always a meme of someone doing something funny or caught off guard. A couple of examples of people doing this most recently is when trump addressed media. What someone did was capture a video of him taking of his hat for a split second to expose his hair. Another one that was massive was the NCAA march madness tournament. One of the cameras caught footage of Michael Jordan crying and twitter had a field day with it. You could find michael’s face on anything from a pet to a rocket going into space.

Of Course there is no certain recipe to creating a viral meme you just kind of got to get lucky. There are instagram accounts out there dedicated to memes though and they have millions of followers. What a lot of them do is build a certain following then place ads and other peoples post for a price so there is a business in memes as well.
