Local police are searching for a suspect involved in two stabbings that occurred Friday evening in the city’s northeast end.
Officials say at 6:20 p.m., a man was inside a local business in the area of Adelaide Street North and Huron Street when they were suddenly approached by a strange man.
Police believe the suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim and fled on foot in a northeast direction.
Then 15 minutes later at around 6:35 p.m., officials say another man was inside their home in the area of Belfield Street and Norwood Avenue, when an unidentified male entered.
The suspect was confronted by the resident before allegedly stabbing him.
Both victims sustained minor injuries.
Half an hour later, it was around 7:05 p.m. when police say an unidentified male attempted to steal a car located in a parking lot in the area of Adelaide Street North and Huron Street.
He was unsuccessful, and officials say he fled on foot once again, this time heading eastbound.

Police believe the suspect in all three incidents is the same person.
He’s described as a Caucasian male between the ages of 16-20 years old.
Police believe the suspect was wearing a teal blue baseball cap with a shield on it, with blonde hair protruding from underneath the hat, a navy blue or dark grey hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings, running shoes, and carrying a black satchel.
The investigation is ongoing.
