The final weekend of summer is here and so is the warmer weather.
Meteorologist with Environment Canada, Peter Kimbell says temperatures are expected to hover around 24 degrees on Saturday.
Kimbell says the unusual warm temperature also comes with a risk of thunderstorms that evening.
Kimbell adds temperatures are expected to cool by Sunday, sticking for Monday and Tuesday.
He tells the X it officially becomes fall on Monday September 22nd.
On Thursday night many parts of Ontario woke up with frost, however London stayed in the clear.
Kimbell notes temperatures on Thursday night dropped to 4.2 degrees in London while the average overnight temperature locally for this time is 10 degrees.
Kimbell says London won’t likely see frost for about another week.
He adds October appears to be above average in terms of temperatures.
