Four men in custody after robbery at a jewelry store in London

UPDATE: London Police says charges have been laid in relation to a jewelry store robbery.

Matthew Darren Simpson, 34, of London
Troy John Wolfe, 30, of London
Mason Rylee Ireland, 25, of no fixed address
Nevin E McCrea, 29, of no fixed address

All four of the accused have been jointly charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. Police says they all appeared in London court yesterday in relation to the charges.

London police say a jewelry store located at 760 Hyde Park Road was robbed a significant amount of jewelry last night.

Police say two males wearing masks exited a car and entered the store at approximately 6:25 p.m

The employees were directed to get on the floor, while the suspects smashed display cases with a sledge hammer, removed the contents and escaped in the waiting car.

Officers followed a car to a location on River Road in the Oneida First Nation.

With the assistance of the OPP, Oneida Nation of the Thames Police Department and Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service, four men were arrested and the investigation is still on-going.
