London police says a male stole two backpacks from a store in a mall located at 1150 Wellington Road South at approximately 8:20 p.m last night.
A person tried to stop the suspect, but the suspect was able to escape. Police says the citizen sustained minor injuries and the stolen items were recovered inside the mall.
The investigation is still ongoing.
