Sutton puts on a show as Broncos move to 2-0 under Teddy Bridgewater
The Denver Broncos rose to the occasion for the second week in a row, as the Broncos defeated the Jaguars 23-13. The Broncos now move to 2-0 under Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who had another great game. Bridgewater threw for 328 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wide Receiver Courtland Sutton helped with a lot of those yards as he caught 9 passes for 159 yards in a career high showing. The Broncos play in their home opener next week against the Jets, so expect the offensive hot streak to continue.
Jaguars extend regular season losing streak to 17 games
The Jacksonville Jaguars just cannot buy a win. They are now on a historically bad losing streak of 17 straight regular season losses. The last time the Jacksonville Jaguars won a regular season game was Week 1 last season against the Indianapolis Colts. The Jaguars still have a long way to go if they are going to break the record. The Chicago Cardinals currently hold the record with 29 straight losses. Ironically, the Jaguars play the Arizona Cardinals next week and speaking of the Cardinals…
Cardinals continue to fly high at 2-0
The Arizona Cardinals are flying high right now at 2-0, with 2 straight games scoring 30+ points. The Cardinals won a nail-biter this week against the Minnesota Vikings 34-33. Quarterback Kyler Murray was once again at the top of his game throwing for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns. Murray also ran for 31 yards on the ground as well. The offensive hot streak of the Cardinals should continue next week against the Jaguars who have struggled this season.
Raiders are on a roll!
This week the Raiders continued to show the world they aren’t blinded by the bright lights of Las Vegas. They defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-17. Derek Carr torched the Steelers defense with 382 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Despite the slow offensive day, Steelers Running Back Najee Harris scored his first NFL touchdown in the 4th quarter. The Raiders head back home next week to play the Dolphins.
Packers strike back with offensive fury!
After a disastrous first game of the season the Green Bay Packers returned to form in a 35-17 victory over the Detroit Lions. Although the Lions had the lead going into halftime, the second half belonged to the Packers. The Packers scored 21 unanswered points in the second half of the game. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 255 yards and 4 touchdowns improving from his 2-interception performance in Week 1. The Packers head to San Francisco next week to play the 49ers who are currently 2-0 on the season.
