Isabella Randall is a D1 soccer player for JSU in Mississippi. Their schedules are always packed and she spoke to us about a day in her life when they don’t have games.
Randall starts her day off waking up at 4:30am. She gets ready as do her teammates and they head to the track for 5am. The women start off with stretching at and warming up around 5:30am and run a 2 mile distance every morning at 6am.
The team then heads to the gym where they do team lifts and all hit the gym together at 7am. Once it hits 8 the ladies then head to breakfast as a team where they then go to training at the soccer field at 10 once everyone is finished with breakfast.
At 12:30pm once practice is finished the team heads back to the cafeteria where they get lunch. Once the clock strikes 3pm they head back to the field for more training.
This is where their days typically start to slow down. The team heads to the cafeteria for dinner at 5:30pm followed by team bonding from 7-9pm. They then hit the hay and repeat the next morning.
JSU soccer team is a family. They spend the whole day together every single day. The team chemistry is there and the ladies are killing it.
